Book Review Archive

OK, we admit it we have no idea how to archive the bloody books, do you do it by author? We're willing to bet most of you (like us), have no idea who wrote a particular book about Bob Marley you just know that you want to read about Bob Marley, so we thought why not just categorise everything by the artists the book is about ? Only where does that leave books like Griel Marcus' The Shape Of Things To Come - a book we reckon is a series of extended essays addressing American identity and how the popular culture it shapes is inextricably interwoven with a sense of portent and doom (blimey)! Or indeed White Bicycles the reminiscences of Joe Boyd. Of course matters are not being helped by our current filing system...

So in the end we just gave up and started putting 'em where they seemed to fit best, we suggest you start by looking for the artists you like, and if that doesn't work then have a look for the authors and if you have a better idea then please let us know
