Win loudQUIETloud DVD

Yet another band whose influence far outstripped their initial success (like the Velvet Underground or Big Star), the Pixies made an astonishingly visceral noise that was promptly copped by everyone from Nirvana to David Bowie. Sadly, whilst musically they were a well oiled noise machine who could make your goose-bumps sprout goose-bumps, personally they were all over the bloody shop and, after four brilliant albums created amidst much animosity and dummy spitting they juddered to a halt in 1992, only to reconvene twelve years later for an equally fractious tour, which is documented in this fascinating, if occasionally rather uncomfortable film. Imagine Metallica's Some Kind Of Monster but with people who don't communicate at all rather than yell and shout, and if this sounds excruciating, well it is, only with a soundtrack most bands would sell their mums for. Yup it's a belter and we have three copies to give away...

To get your hands on a copy of The Pixies loudQUIETloud DVD just answer this idiotically simple question…

Kim Deal jumped ship once again in 2013, who now handles bass duties for the band?
